Mectron Engineering NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Division provides a complete line of individual digital eddy current instrumentation. NDT uses include metallurgical testing for heat treat, case depth, and cracks. Eddy current is also used in non-contact thread detection to determine the presence and depth of tapped holes. Mectron provides a wide range of standard probes and coils for integration into manufacturing lines.
Contract Sorting and Packaging Services Division utilizes Mectron’s own fastener inspection equipment to provide manufacturers with high speed dimensional and metallurgical sorting services.
