Windows Upgrade

Q4000 and Q2000 inspection systems with Mectron lasers can now be upgraded to a Windows operating system utilizing Mectron’s new software package.

Advantages

Double the scan rate (Windows speed allows 2x the inspection information)
Interfaces with new optional *laser length analyzer (replaces mechanical length test)
Single touch screen instrument to support:

· Laser inspection

· Eddy current

· Vision (no need for laptop)

· System logic on touch screen for quick diagnostics (eliminates PLC and laptop troubleshooting)

· Q5000 software for unlimited inspection zones

· Data collection

Instrument is mounted on a swivel stand for easy operator use
Reduce service cost on DOS based instruments

System will provide same inspection capabilities as new Q5000 or Q2500 system
